It’s been 19 days since the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl 52.
Hold on, I just need to say that one more time cause it’s always going to be just so surreal.

Ah yes, that’s it.
Unless you have been living under a rock since then, all of Philadelphia sports has been ROCKING. The Sixers are 6-0 after their last minute come back against the Bulls. The Flyers are 8-0-1 after a tight win last night, all with a new goalie and two major injuries in Wayne Simmonds and Travis Konecny. Shit, even the Drexel Dragons basketball team (yes, they have a basketball team) came back from a 34 point deficit to win against Delaware, a Division 1 record!
Most people have seen other outlets talking about this fantastic month for Philadelphia sports, so this is really nothing original. But what if I told you that just before the Super Bowl, we entered into a parallel universe where Philadelphia sports teams winning was actually, a common occurrence!
Just before the Super Bowl. Literally right before kickoff, an asteroid hurled dangerously close to Earth. Now this may not mean much to some, but have you ever seen Coherence? I have. And let me tell you buddy, this asteroid is a Philadelphia sports fan.
I know, I can hardly believe it myself. But I don't think there's much more to be said. We are obviously living inside a parallel universe thanks to that asteroid. And Philadelphia just keeps on winning. Thank you giant space rock, thank you.
ALTERNATE THEORY: I wouldn't be shocked if it was even just the power of winning that was transferred from the asteroid into the Lombardi trophy, almost like Team Monstar had in Space Jam.
