Being 10 years out of any kind of organized education, let me tell you. C’s get Degrees is fucking facts. I did all that homework last week, and for what, to break even? I’ll take it - but I can’t say I’m going to sink my teeth into every possible stat line this week just to get a C. I can get C’s without blinking. 

Speaking of C’s, that would be the grade I would give this week's slate of games. It’s okay. Nothing crazy. Passable. My breakdown today will be short and sweet as I am getting out of dodge for a bachelor party pre-game of sorts. A solid day with the OG Stoop Kidz (IYKYK) up in the Poconos. Passable. Nothing crazy…

Boston College @ Virginia: Boston College +1.5

I’m not going to lie to you, I haven’t watched one second of Virginia this season. But what I do know is they lost to Maryland, gutted out a close game against Wake Forest, and killed Richmond and Coastal Carolina. I’m not impressed by that stack. BC on the other hand womped FSU (not saying much, I know), and almost beat Missouri. I think they are a team that fights to stay in games. My only concern would be stamina. They have yet to have their bye, playing 5 straight weeks. I’m putting trust in Bill O’Briens ability to get the team into shape in August to handle the tough sledding. 

Final Score: Boston College 24, Virginia 23

Navy @ Air Force: Navy -9.5

Uhhhh Navy is legit. 4-0 start, averaging 46 PPG. Air Force on the other hand? Let’s just say their heads are in the clouds.

Fun fact, Top Gun is Navy, not Air Force. Go Navy, Beat Air Force. 

Final Sore: Navy 38, Air Force 17

Iowa @ (3) Ohio State: Iowa Team Total O13.5

Puke dude. This pick is so gross. Iowa needing to score a measly 14 points against the Buckeye defense? I’m sorry. But Ohio State has Oregon next week (look ahead), and Iowa has surprisingly put up no less than 19 points in a game this season. All we need is two!

Final Score: Ohio State 32, Iowa 15

(23) Indiana @ Northwestern: Over 41.5

Another gross pick. There’s no way I’m hitting all of the Big Ten over’s. I’m an absolute disgrace. Indiana is averaging 49 PPG. They might be able to do this solo. Say they drop for the matchup a touch, all Northwestern has to do is nail a couple field goals at home and we’re good. I just drew it up, I’m sure that’s exactly how things will go.

(15) Clemson @ Florida State: Clemson -14.5

Am I missing something here? Does FSU backup Brock Glenn really drop this line? Why? Becuase there’s no tape on him? Lockeroom spark plug? The fact that I just opened this breakdown with 5 questions means one thing and one thing only. Don’t overthink it. Clemson has been in brickhouse form.

Final Score: Clemson 42, Florida State 24

(10) Michigan @ Washington: Over 41.5

These defenses are good, sure. But Michgian’s offense has been getting it together a bit recently, and Washington definitely looked ahead to this game when they traveled east for a loss at Rutgers last Friday night. That travel can tire defenses out. Another Big Ten 10 over, what could go wrong?

(4) Tennessee @ Arkansas: Tennessee -13.5

Pre-game bachelor party in the Poconos, how can I not bet on Tennessee for the vibes.
