Don’t look now. With just 3 short weeks left in the regular season (sad), after the worst start in Digest history, we’re within reach of cashing in. 28-29-2. I hope everyone enjoyed the 8-0 heater we were on before the 3:30 games last weekend. We need to keep those vibes rolling. Did we trust Tennessee a week too long? Sure. But did we also lock up Georgia national championship odds after week one? You bet we did. There is some serious dra-muh afoot with the rankings and how the playoff is shaping up. Undefeated TCU, LSU sneaking around, Oregon holding their ground. Oh, and who could forget, an irrelevant Alabama! God I love college football.

(9) Alabama @ (11) Ole Miss: Ole Miss +11

I don’t know how I am possibly saying this, but this is just way too many points. Alabama is not worthy of a cover like this. Not on the road, not against Lane Kiffin.

Final Score: Alabama 38, Ole Miss 32

Maryland @ (14) Penn State: Penn State -10.5

That’s right Franklin, beat up on the small schools.

Final Score: Penn State 34, Maryland 21

(1) Georgia @ Mississippi State: Under 52

Just picture this game. This is either going to be a blowout in favor of Georgia where Mississippi State can’t do a damn thing on offense. Or it’ll be a defensive chess match to determine who is the bigger, badder, Bulldog.

Final Score: Georgia 34, Mississippi State 17

(25) Washington @ (6) Oregon: Oregon -12

Oregon is by far the new LSU for the Digest. Except I fucking hate Orgeon. Everytime I bet on them, they blow it. And every time I bet against them, they shove it in my face. Well today’s play is simple. I hate Oregon so much that I want them to blow it for me. I don’t want to see them succeed. I will spend my hard earned dollars on watching their team and their fanbase crumble just when everything was looking so promising. Go Ducks!

Final Score: Washington 100, Oregon 2

(4) TCU @ (18) Texas: Under 65

I would normally love taking the underdog here. TCU is getting absolutely zero respect. But usually when underdog stories appear, the true fight and willpower is in the defense. I do tend to agree with the rest of the college football landscape, the Horned Frogs are not a playoff team. But I do think they have enough respect about themselves to play anyone close.

Final Score: Texas 34, TCU 28

Running Record: (173-144-6)
