4-0-1. Fucking Penn State cost us a perfect week with a goddamn 15 point push. You know how much 15 isn’t a football number? Whatever, never mind, not going down the rabbit hole of what constitutes a football number. Should of known, as a Temple man, never to trust the Nittany Lions to cover ESPECIALLY this season. In the last 3 weeks, the Digest is pulling a 71% record. I’ve been known to own the title Mr. 60%, I’d love to accept a promotion to Mr. 70%. But I have to earn that right, 3 weeks isn’t going to cut a promotion like that. I’m talking an office with a VIEW. You have to grind your ass off for that, no cutting corners.
Championship week is here. Some games are cancelled, but there is not an hour between 12pm and 12am that will not have must watch action. We have been watching these teams all season, we know our guys. This week is all about trusting your guys, trusting your gut, trusting your fate. Today we need to get a stranglehold on Vegas to ride into the playoff, you better trust your fate.
(14) Northwestern @ (4) Ohio State: Ohio State -18.5
I mean, Northwestern is simply not winning this game. Now – can they cover? Their team isn’t bad, but they’re nothing to write home about. The secondary will stop Ohio State once or twice but not eight, nine, ten times. I think Ohio State needs to burn the scoreboard to the ground today to go into a playoff game against any seeded matchup they may face on New Years Day. It’s time for Justin Fields to step up and show his moxie. He will do that at today at Lucas Oil.
Final Score: Ohio State 45, Northwestern 24
(5) Texas A&M @ Tennessee: Texas A&M -13.5
To put this one simply, the Aggies need to prove they belong in the playoff in the event one of the top four looks like they don’t belong. They need to beat the doors off the Volunteers, and I’m willing to put money on that narrative over the opposite where you have to trust those cream orange looking fucks who have just played me like a fiddle all year. Out of respect for my rivalry with Tennessee, we’re going A&M by 100. Fuck you Tennessee. I usually find it super disrespectful when teams do like 'horns down' against Texas, or 'down U' against Miami... but you know what - I have negative zero respect for the Tennessee Volunteers. And I'm not afraid to show it.

Final Score: Texas A&M 100, Tennessee 0
(10) Oklahoma @ (6) Iowa State: Iowa State +6
If you’ve watched the Big 12 this season, you know the Cyclones are the deserved champion. Broke Purdy, Breece Hall, Xavier Hutchinson, and a stout group on the defensive side of the ball have been proving it throughout this whacky season. They show up when they need to. They will show up today, regardless of how Oklahoma has looked of late. I expect this to be close, but ultimately – I would sprinkle the Cyclones ML here.
Final Score: Iowa State 27, Oklahoma 23
(3) Clemson @ (2) Notre Dame: Clemson -10
Revenge game, for the conference championship, and potential playoff spot on the line for Clemson. You cannot bet against that! I would rather take that to the grave, than possibly lose on ND +10. You want to know why the first half against Virginia Tech was so sluggish for Clemson? It’s because it was a look ahead spot to this very game, and they still managed to cover the 22-point spread. You have to trust the team that’s been there every year in recent memory. You have to trust the team who has won the conference the past 5 years. You have to trust the team who needs to prove their playoff spot. You have to trust the team that is seeking revenge. Trevor Lawrence will be sending the Catholics to midnight mass.
Final Score: Clemson 38, Notre Dame 17
(1) Alabama @ (7) Florida: Alabama -17
I want to say so many bad things about the Florida Gators. I want to, but I won’t. Credit to me for not saying all of the bad things I want to say about the Florida Gators. What I will say, is we’re rolling 10 straight weeks of the wave. And that’s all there is to say.
Final Score: Alabama 62, Florida 31
BONUS BINGO BUY BET:
(23) Tulsa @ (9) Cincinnati: Cincinnati -14
Buy this bet if you’re looking to hit the lottery. If you’re just rolling in it after some of the earlier slated games, take this bet. Cincinnati hasn’t played in a while, but they also do all the small things right as I have said all season long. Tulsa on the other hand, while they are 6-1, the best team they’ve beat was SMU (by 4). They almost didn’t cover against Navy the other week! The Bonus Bingo Buy Bet, Baby!
Final Score: Cincinnati 32, Tulsa 17
Let's ride together into the playoff as brothers. Trust your guys, trust your gut, trust your fate.
Running Record: (85-62-3)
