Now THIS is spooky season. There is something in the air of late. It could be my farts, but it could also just be the chaos that is college football. Time to make a list.
James Franklin, smell my farts
Oregon loses to Indiana
Oklahoma rushed back John Mateer
Cignetti extension
Bill Belichick has a really cool website made by his 24 year old graphic designer
Matt Rhule did his best James Franklin impression the minute he was rumored to be the next head coach in Happy Valley and lost to Minnesota
The U might not be back
Joey Digest is 34-16 on the season, and has 3 straight #PremiumMemberTickleTeaser winning tickets
You’re probably reading that last point and realizing you’re still a dipstick for not taking another #PremiumMemberTickleTeaser
On top of all this, I looked at the board today and let me tell ya, it is frightening. I think there are more favorites with worse records than their opponents than I’ve ever seen. Vegas is looking for an all time day today. Does the Digest have anything to do with it? Chances are… without a doubt. No question. 100%.
We ball.
(4) Texas A&M @ Arkansas: Arkansas +7.5
Look out Aggies fans, it’s spooky season. You’re one of 10 remaining undefeated programs in the country. Now, Arkansas has not had a great ride thus far. Their schedule has been absolutely brutal, today is their 5th straight ranked opponent. Outside of the Notre Dame game (when Notre Dame needed to make a statement), they’ve kept opponents close. Ole Miss by 6, Memphis by 1, Tennessee by 3. They can certainly stay in games. And with the chaos of the season, the Razorbacks have a chance to add to the volatility.
Final Score: Arkansas 34, Texas A&M 31
(5) Ole Miss @ (9) Georgia: Georgia -6.5
Look out Rebel fans, it’s spooky season. You’re one of 10 remaining undefeated programs in the country. FanDuel is the last book with this at -6.5 (know your books). If by the time I publish this, it has moved to -7, then there is zero chance this does not hit.
Ole Miss has had a great run to date, but they have been dodging losses left and right. 4 of their 6 wins this season have been one score games, most recently only escaping 3-3 Wazzou. Georgia needs a statement game on their resume. I expect it to take place today.
PS: Georgia hasn’t lost to Ole Miss at home since 1996!
Final Score: Georgia 28, Ole Miss 21
SMU @ Clemson: Clemson -5.5
With Miami’s loss to Louisville last night, suddenly a small but clear path exists for Clemson to get back in the fight for a potential playoff spot. A lot would have to go right for them to win the ACC, but the potential exists. The one thing they can control, is winning out. And clearly, winning out. Issa wave.
Final Score: Clemson 37, SMU 27
(11) Tennessee @ (6) Alabama: Alt Line Parlay, Alabama -2.5 & Over 49.5
Normally, I’m a sucker for taking the Vols in this matchup. But I really do like the direction the Tide is heading in right now. Even with a loss on their record, Bama seems oddly in the driver's seat of the SEC. Ty Simpson is a Heisman candidate. It’s just up and to the right in Tuscaloosa.
Thinking about this rivalry the past few seasons, it’s been more back and forth than usual. The home team has won each of the last 4 season matchups. That’s what we call a trend in the business. As for the over, well, I attended last year's game in Neyland. It felt like nothing was happening for a good chunk of the game, and the total still landed at 41. I expect there to be a bit more movement tonight between these two.

Final Score: Alabama 32, Tennessee 28
(20) USC @ (13) Notre Dame: Over 60.5
The best color game in sports. Why would I not root for points in the best color game in sports? I want this over by halftime. It’s the best color game in sports.

Final Score: Notre Dame 69, USC 6 7
(what’s with the 6 7 jokes online? I think I’m too old)
