The Degenerate Digest v.165

Illinois overs. Even at the time of writing this (1:56 EST, Pacific, Mountain, Local, Choose Your Own Adventure Time), Illinois overs are still not hitting. Allow me the courtesy of describing my thoughts on Illinois overs.

Illinois Overs 0-2*

Me* 8-0

Me including Illinois overs**: 8-2

You don’t have to squint hard to see that without Illinois overs, we’re 8-0 in our last 10. The momentum, it’s building.

Happy muh fuggin holiday’s, Rita. It’s at this time I’d like to discuss the debate of Christmas before Thanksgiving.

Sike. We got more important holidays to talk about. How about this Week 10 slate? Jesus, Mary, and Joseph couldn’t roll up to the spot today and expect any preferential treatment. Except maybe South Bend. That’s the kind of slate we’re embarking upon today. Zero windows of opportunity to grocery shop, mow the lawn (yes, mow the lawn, it’s 72 degrees in November, shoutout El Nino), chop it up with the fam, none. Zero, zilch. Wall to wall action. Don’t believe me? Look for yourself bozo.

This is truly a historical slate. Could make for a historical day. Only one thing to do.

Oh you just had to know this song was coming. Tried to throw you off with the Nick Cage transition. Maybe it worked, maybe it didn’t. Zero credits to you if you didn’t know this song was coming. Historical. Let’s start exactly where everyone is expecting..

Iowa State @ Baylor: Baylor -9.5

Come on dude, keep up. I know you thought I was starting with the Holy War. Here’s the thing about the Holy War, I hate the line movement. What’s the live movement? Good question. It screams Utah and the Over. No way! I was thinking BYU and the Under!? I know, same. That’s why I’m not starting with the Holy War. Baylor rolls.

Final Score: Baylor 32, Iowa State 17

(5) Alabama @ (14) LSU: LSU -6

Big line for a game like this. But did anyone watch the first ‘AP Top 25 Playoff Rankings’?

This shit is hysterical to me. Who could possibly care about the rankings right now? I get teams only have a handful of games left. But this is where we find ourselves every year. The committee sets insanity rankings the week before everyone starts clenching their hemorids back into their sphincters. This is a massive game for these two teams. The loser, honestly, likely does not make the college football playoff. Alabama got put at 5? Lol. Keelon Russel, you are going to be great, but see you next year. LSU has arguably been playing the best football in the country the last few weeks. Ever since Lane Kiffin was too in need of a penicillin shot to win that game against Kentucky, the best team in the country. Wish I could embedd the video. But since I can't, it's linked here. Hopefully the drugs are alive and well sir. Geaux Tigers.

Final Score: LSU 28, Alabama 21

(23) Oregon @ (12) Ohio State: Alt Line Parlay, Oregon +16.5 & Under 54.5

Lol. Yeah. Oregon fans? Quack quack, ya fucking ducks. The boogey man is back. Can you cover 16 points? Lets’ find out.

Final Score: Ohio State 27, Oregon 21

(6) Kentucky @ (13) Tennessee: Tennessee -5.5

Will Stein knows how to win games. Plain and simple. He does. But I’m still just not convinced the Wildcats performances have been convincing enough to help their case here. This is yet another massive game (notice a trend here? Historical). Tennessee’s defense deserves this line at home. They’re allowing 16.25 points per game. At home, in Neyland? At night? Woof.

Final Score: Tennessee 26, Kentucky 20

(1) Miami @ (11) Notre Dame: Alt Line Parlay, Notre Dame -2.5 & Over 46.5

Last chance to bet on Notre Dame. At least in a big spot. Unless, of course, they win this game. Side bar: I really believe in Notre Dame. I think they could win the whole friggin thing in a truly crazy season. And with no Malachi Toney? They gotta be able to prove to the nation on the biggest spot they are their fathers sons. If not, they’ll all end up like Tim Riggins not being able to hold onto the football. Except, the Catholic version. YIKES!

Final Score: Notre Dame 28, Miami 21

Louisville @ Georgia Tech: Louisville -14.5

I almost bought a full point here many, many, many times throughout the course of digesting. It’s not worth it. I fucking love this bet, take that sentement for what it’s worth. Louisville is a playoff worthy team, Georgia Tech is nowhere close.

Final Score: Louisville 44, Georgia Tech 21

West Virginia @ Texas Tech: Alt Line Parlay, West Virginia +24.5 & Over 57.5

Hahahahahaha. You thought I’d go posting THREE Alt Line Parlay’s on a Historical Digest Saturday and not use this clip? Who the fuck do you think I am? These guys go today. And if it’s a shootout like I expect, you can’t lose a ‘shootout’ by more than 24 points. You just can’t. No way. Sorry. You can’t.

Final Score: Texas Tech 37, West Virginia 27

You’d think I’d have a #PremiumMemberTickleTeaser for a day like today. But instead, I just have other picks. Direct Messages are ope….

Nah.

Can’t do it.

Gotta do it.

For the people.

Historical.

I’m not putting these against The Digest record, but here are some other premium plays I’m loving today:

Texas -2.5

Clemson/Syracuse Over 49.5

Purdue -4.5

Houston/Cincinnati Over 62.5

Washington -2.5

Rice/UT Over 64.5

Utah State +2.5

Texas State/Oregon State Under 71.5

But Joey Digest, it’s a Historical Slate, what about Georgia @ Ole Miss? DM’s are open.

Running Record: (406-342-7)
